Summer is finally here!! And that means more crafting fun! I've got macrame on the brain since I'm in the process of writing a new book on macrame. So there's a bunch of new classes at the San Gabriel Bead Company. I was recently spotted on an episode of Craft Lab on DIY Network. I made the coolest fused glass wall sconce. Didn't get to see it myself since I accidently cancelled that part of my cable. Ooops. If anyone has a copy...I'll be on DIY Jewelry Making again soon. They did just show a couple of different segments which will be repeated. Recycling and fusing. Good times. And if you're intersted in learning glass bead making or glass fusing or macramé check my schedule of classes further down the page. And if you want to see when I may be on DIY again go to their site...DIY Jewelry Making Check out the coolest macramé beaded curtain made of my beads and brown suede lace.
It's a how-to article for the magazine Craft in their fourth issue. You should be able to get a copy through their web site. I'm teaching some macramé classes at The San Gabriel Bead Company. Check the schedule of classes below. Let's get knotty!
But check out the curtain and let me know what you think.
I've just added alot of new goodies on etsy. Check them out. There are monsters and sweet treats and sterling silver charms and findings. I'll be adding new things everyday. There's a link to my etsy store just a bit down.
